9 Shots is a street photography who's work mostly focuses on people and their expressions. His work is shot in black and white but is also slightly underexposed, making his subjects look darker and greyer. His street photography is authentic as it captures normal people as they go about their day to day lives, usually in the middle of a cove ration they are having or even just them sitting down minding their own business.
Due to 9 Shots photographing slightly underexposed, it can appear that some of his image appear grainy. It seems that he doesn't edit his photographs with great detail due to the way they seem to realistic, the only obvious way I can see he does edit his images are the fact that they are black and white. The composition of his images are very central, capturing the subject of his image and making sure that they are the only focus. He also relies on shapes to form his image because of the black and white aspect, the shapes of the image can create a good contrast between the subject and the background.
The overall mood of his photography is positive, 9 Shots is very clever when he takes his photographs because it seems that the subject is never aware of him doing so; this creates genuine photographs that have not been posed for which I believe in the best kind of street photography.
